EveryOrchard (“we”, “us”) operates everyorchard.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We are committed to compliance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

Information we collect

  • Account information: your email address (for sign-in and reminders). We use passwordless sign-in — we never store a password.
  • Your orchard data: the location (ZIP/postal code), trees, and log entries you save.
  • Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We store only a Stripe customer/subscription identifier and your subscription status — never card numbers.
  • Analytics: we use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that do not track you across sites and do not collect personally identifying information.

How we use it

To provide the service: authenticate you, generate your care calendar, send the reminder emails you enable, and process your subscription. We do not sell your personal information.

Email

We send transactional email (sign-in links, receipts) and, if you subscribe, care reminders. You can turn off reminder emails at any time from your account without affecting essential account email.

Data retention and your rights

You can export all of your data (JSON or CSV) and permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account page. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. Under PIPEDA and CCPA you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; the export and delete tools satisfy these directly, or you can contact us.

Security

Data is stored with reputable cloud service providers — database, hosting, payment processing, and email delivery — under their security programs. We limit internal identifiers in logs and analytics and do not place personal information in them. A list of the specific providers we use is available on request via the contact below.
